#SAVEYOMADEBALOGUN #SAVEMYFRIEND #SAVEAPROMISINGNIGERIANYOUTH

I am using the medium to launch a campaign to save a friend, a sister and amazing young lady with a promising future, Yomade Balogun Yewande.  In 2010, we met during my service year in Yobe State at the orientation camp. During this period, we had opportunity of interacting one on one as great friend. Yomade is an intelligent, brave, beautiful, and amiable person. She is vocal, dramatic and a great leader also. She featured in my contemporary poetry performance titled 'ADESEWA' during one of the social night held for the corpers at the orientation camp. Although i never had the opportunity of seeing her again after our departure from the orientation camp and we lost contact also. Not until recently when i heard about, on the social media that she was diagnosed of chronic kidney renal failure.

Perhaps you might have read about 26 year old Yomade and her battle with renal failure. Only 3 weeks ago, and seemingly at her wits end, Yomade, her sisters and her friends decided to launch a massive social media campaign to raise funds for a kidney transplant to save her life. The response from several Nigerians, mostly strangers, has been quite overwhelming – over 60% of the needed funds have been realized through financial supports friends, family and well wishers.
Yomade Balogun Yewande is a graduate of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy, Ile-Ife, 2009/2010. She have been raised by her mum since 1992 alongside her other 2 sisters ever since the demise of her father who died in a ghastly motor accident in 1992.

She is presently undergoing dialysis at Gbagada General Hospital and Clinix health care , under the supervision of Dr Busari with hospital no 210770.
Yomade needs about 8.5million naira to complete a kidney transplant and is seeking your assistance to make her battle a winning one. Please direct all financial support to the accounts listed below:
