Creative Displays of the Okey Nzeakors

The Okey Nzeakors creative expressions

Oil Pollution of Munachi Okey Nzeakor

My picture is on the theme ‘ENVIRONMENT’ while the title of this painting is ‘pollution’. Munachi said ‘I chose the Niger Delta region as my area of emphasis because it is an oil producing area that is often troubled with environmental pollution. The cluster of the buildings in my picture shows the poverty apathy and degradation of human life as a result of lack of livelihood caused by the constant oil spillages and gas firing which sometimes affect the marine life as shown by the clutter of dead fishes in my work.
The Niger Deltas are mostly fishermen who depend on the riverine area for their livelihood and pollution is a big problem to those areas. The summary of her artistic creation is’ STOP THE POLLUTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT TODAY. Munachi Okey-Nzeakor is a year 4 pupil, the 8 year old is a creative and dynamic kid, although she may not study art as a career but art will never depart from her heart because itruns in the family.
