ARTBILITY ART EXHIBITION WITH DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION NIGERIA
"ARTBILITY" art exhibition to commemorate World Down Syndrome Day took place at United Nations Information Centre, Lagos Nigeria. Tender Arts Nigeria facilitated the art exhibition in conjunction with Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria. It is our way of showcasing the creative ability of people living with disabilities.

AFRICA4Her...Empowerment Through The Arts
Tender Arts Nigeria is empowering 100 girls in Nigeria through the arts. The participants in the 8 weeks art workshop are girls from the slum, public and private schools, rehabilitation home,higher institutions, those living with chronic illness among many others. This art initiative is all inclusive because believe no one should be discriminated against irrespective of their tribe, background or religion. Art is a good way of engaging girls in making right choices that would help them achieve their envisioned future. They were engaged in activities like Painting, Drawing, Photography, Animation, Graphics Design, Mixed media, Expressive Writing and Spoken Word poetry. The participants were grouped and paired with mentors in expressing their creative ingenuity. The age group of the participants was between ages 6-25 . This project is supported by US Department of State, Terrakulture, Yalinetwork, Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria, The Sole Adventurer and US Consulate Lagos Nigeria
